BR 2-10: ARTHUT and the SCHOOL PET

I read this serese. It was "Arthur and the Shool Pet." Arthur's younger sister is D.W. It was D.W.'s last day of school before Christmas vacation. In her class, there have a gerbil and someone had to take home for the holidays. Just then D.W. took him. His name is Speedy and he is really speedy. Speedy took to her and played. The morning of Christmas, he was not in his cage. D.W. cried and her familly looked for Speedy. He was on top of christmas tree and had a cheese! He wanted cheese. Then he got out of his cage three more times. They were in cake box, dollhouse and Arthur's snow boot. He had some trouble but D.W. liked him. Then he went back the school.

BR 2-09:AUTHUR and the NEW KID

I read "Authur and the New Kid." Authur's class were writhing about summer vacation, and suddenly the door opened. In walked someone new. He is Norbert and he weared tie and jacket. He looked smart. The teacher said to him that take a seat anywhere, but he seat in the back near no one. He also seat near no one other classes. He and Authur's classmates have distance. In math class, a girl was asked a question. Norbert told her the answer. Then classmates understood that Norbert was good boy. At last Norbert, Authur and a friend went to Authur's house and play. They got along together.

BR 2-08: ARTHUR LOST in the MUSEUM

I read "Arthur Lost in the Museum." I like this series.
Arthur's class went to the museum. Arthur raised his hand three times, but it was not question. He wanted to go to the bath room! Then he was told the way of toilet, but he could not go soon. He entered another room for two times and he was laughed his classmates. However, his teacher didn't notice him. Finally, he could go to the boy's toilet. There were many model of American history, and Arthur made his history, too. He was very cute.

BR 2-07: WAKE UP, SUN!

I read "Wake up, Sun!" because it was cute this cover and I thought it was Babe at first.
One night, in the middle of the night, a flea bit Dog on his ear, and Dog woke up. He thought that it had to be time to get up and "Woof!" said. Then Pig woke up and said "Be Quiet." There were not Sun yet and they went to look for Sun. At the way to looking for, they met Cow and Chicken and wake up each other. They all looked for the sun, but they could not find it. Finally, they began to yell, but the sun didn't appear. Farmer's baby woke up just as the sun came over the barn. Then the baby and the all animal began to get along each other.
It was warmly story.

BR2-06: Stuart LIttle

I read "Stuart Little ~Stuart Hides Out~." I chose it because I have know Stuart and I was interested in this story.

One day Stuart Little's family went out, and Stuart had to leave with family cat, Snowbell. They were much time and played game together. They played hide-and-seek, then Stuart hid and Snowbell sought. Stuart hid in flower vase, and Snowbell started to seek him, but he couldn't seek him. Stuart decided to go out there, but he could not. He began to rock back and forth. Just then, Snowbell found rolling vase that Stuart was in helped.

I thought that Stuart and Snowbell don't get along with each other. However, Snowbell didn't eat Stuart and helped him, so I was surprised and happy.

BR 2-05:Billy and the Queen

I read "Billy and the Queen." It cover attracted me. The story is that Billy wants new bicycle. Then his grandma told him how to get new bicycle. It is to send their photo of him and the Queen together. If he get first prize, he can get F 500 and he can buy two new bikes. So he and his sister went to take pictures, but they could not do well for many days. One day he had a good idea. They went Madame Tussuad's. There were a lot of people and he found the Queen!! He took her together and sends it. Of course, he got first prize and got two new bicycles. He is a crafty but so nice! They all became happy. I like one of them.

I read this book Lucky Break. Tom belongs to football club but broke his leg, so he had to use crutch. He has a favorite movie star, and she will come to movie
theater, so he went see her. There were many crowed people and he was pushed by someone. Then his crutch hit movie star and she was angry with him. They were took pictures and he was famous, too. Next day he went to see football games and there people talked about him. Then he had a good idea and he sold his clothes as a auction. They were sold for high price!
He was very unlucky person because of the breaking leg. Unhappiness things happened for him, but it was occurred for him a happy thing at last.

BR 2-03: FLYING HOME

I read this book "Flying Home" because a yellow bird on this cover was deeply impression. The story is that Felix, a yellow bird from Brazil, goes back to his home. He has lived with the Baxter family in New York for two years. But he wanted to go back to Brazil. One day Mr. Baxter had kept opening Felix's cage and Felix lift the cage and the window. He tried to fly Brazil, but he forgot the way so he went to there while asking the way to other bird. At last he got to Brazil and he could meet his family. I think that if anybody went far away, all people would be sick for home.

BR 2-02: Marcel and The White Star

I read Marcel and The White Star. The story is that the French mouth takes back the big diamond for opera star. Marcel is a French house and he lives on a beautiful old boat, under the kitchen floor, in Paris. He likes the opera and one night he went to have dinner with his friends. After dinner, Marcel waited at the station and heard that two men were talking about stealing opera star's beautiful one million pound diamond ring. Then two men stole her diamond and Marcel took back her diamond in good condition.

He is smart, gentle and has a strong sense of justice. So both he and the opera star became happy. I don't mice but I like him. I want mice as the little star to be in the world.

BR 2-01: Maisie and The Dolphin

I read Maisie and The Dolphin. Maisie King lives in the Bahama and she likes pop music, reading and swimming. Her mother and father are doctor and they lives in a blue house by the sea. On Saturdays she and her grandad often go out in his boat. Then she swims underwater and looks at all the beautiful fish. One day she found a piece of wood. She swims back to the boat and helped a dolphin that injured. Two weeks later, she took the dolphin back to the sea. And, the dolphin brought a key. It was the key that Maisie found the piece of wood! There were a lot of money and Maisie family build a hospital and Maisie could have the dolphin in her house. They were all happy at last.

Stew

I read "Beef Stew." When Nicky woke up, he smelled something good and his mother were make beef stew. The mam allowed to come for supper, so he found a friend who liked beef stew. He called out to several friends, but he was declined all. He was very sad and was waking his home. His way to home, he met a post officer and was gave a little. He was pleased with it and ran off to the station. His grandma came!! Nicky could bring a friend home for supper and they ate together.

At first, I felt sad because nobody could go to his house. But finally, he could bring a friend, so it made my heart warm.

Clever Girl

I read Arthur's Reading Race. Arthur learned to read in school and read everywhere. Then he raced with his younger sister D.W. whether she knows how to read. If she reads ten words, Arthur promised what he buys ice cream for her. She read words one after another. Finally she was bought ice cream, and moreover, she told two words to Arthur! She was cleverer than he!!

I read The Gingerbread Boy. A little old man and a little woman had a no children, so she made gingerbread. She put him in the oven, and out jumped the gingerbread boy and ran the house. He ran on and on and past a cow, a house, a farmer and met a fox. He was smart, so he pretended the kind fox. Finally, the fox ate the gingerbread boy.

I was very shocked because I thought it was a happy story. But it was different. It was not good for young children.

Next I read "The Broken Roof." Biff and Chip had a little house and the children, and they took them to school. Wilf fell on the books to the little house with a crash. The roof was broken. Then the magic key took the children back in time. They met the little children.

Chinese Adventure

I read "Chinese Adventure." It also appears Biff and Chip. It was Gran's birthday and the children gave Gran a present. Their Dad and Mom gave a present, too. It was a Chinese vase. Then Gran had fireworks, so everyone played it. It was a very big sound that the dog Floppy hid under a little table and the vase was broken. The children were sad, so the magic key took the children into Chinese. They were to taken Emperor, and he tried to put the children in the prison. But they found very bad his servants, so the Emperor was pleased with them and present a vase. It was just like Gran's. However, the new vase has Chinese writing on it, but Gran's were made in Taiwan!

I like the last of this story.

I read "The Motorway". Biff and Chip went to stay with their Gran. Gran lived in a little village. They found a Chinese dragon kite in her shed and went to fly it near her house. Then they knew that motorway will go between the wood and the village. So, Gran told people in the village about the motorway. Everyone opposed the motorway, but they couldn't help the village. However, Gran found rare flowers there. So, the flowers could help the village.

I read "The Bully." One day a new girl came to the school. The new girl was called Rosie, and she didn't look very friendly. She was bully and she was nasty to her classmates. Nobody likes her. She asked secret of the magic key to Chip. He didn't want to tell about the magic key, but he told. Then she made Chip take her home. When she was holding the magic key, it wouldn't glow. But, Chip took the key, it began to glow. The key took the children on a new adventure. It was a school playground. The magic key changed her into the figure that she said nasty. She didn't like this and understood that it was the wrong what she did.

It was the short story but it was written very importance in it. The magic key told how to teach Rosie a lesson.

I read "The Clumsy Crocodile" because the cover was so cute.

Cassy Green was a Crocodile and it was the very first day of her new job. She works at Everglades, the biggest and best store in town. She was sent some department, but she made many blunder everywhere. So, her boss gave a last chance and she had to do her best. The next day was Sunday, so she got ready for Monday. Finally, she did and looked perfect!

On Monday morning, two thieves went to the store to rub the most expensive emerald, but Cassy caught them and she was given a medal. It was the proudest moment of her life. She was a hero and she became Everglades' Chief Taster and Tester.

She would try her best but she blundered many times. She never gave up, so she succeeded at last. It is important for us to never give up.

Aladdin

I read "Aladdin & His Magical Lamp". I chose this book because I knew the story "Aladdin" and I wanted to read again.

There was a lazy boy named Aladdin and his mother. One day, a man who introduced his father's long-lost brother, Uncle Abanazar, appeared. The uncle took Aladdin and the uncle had Aladdin bring lump. There was a genie of the lamp and he grant his request.

Aladdin found Princess Badr and he though he wanted to marry her. However, the uncle disturbed him. The Badr was sent to desert and Aladdin went to her to save. So, they killed the uncle in cooperation. The uncle's evil brother want to revenge, but Aladdin also killed him.

Aladdin and Badr were safe, so he became Sultan and his mother became a grandmother.

The story of Aladdin that I know was a little different from the book. This story was fresh, so it was interesting for me.

Roman Holiday was Audrey's first big movie. She was a very pretty woman, so she was loved many people in the world and she made many movies. A lot of young girls everywhere wanted to dress in the same way as her.

She was loved three men. The first man was richer, but he could not marry Audrey. The second man could not also marry her because he had a wife and children. The third man was right for her. He was famous for Hollywood and very great man. They married and had a child the third pregnant, but they divorced about 13 years later. Audrey married third man, but he had girlfriend so they divorced soon.

Later, she worked for UK and helped many poor and hungry people. When she was sixty-four, she became a beautiful angel.
