Stew

I read "Beef Stew." When Nicky woke up, he smelled something good and his mother were make beef stew. The mam allowed to come for supper, so he found a friend who liked beef stew. He called out to several friends, but he was declined all. He was very sad and was waking his home. His way to home, he met a post officer and was gave a little. He was pleased with it and ran off to the station. His grandma came!! Nicky could bring a friend home for supper and they ate together.

At first, I felt sad because nobody could go to his house. But finally, he could bring a friend, so it made my heart warm.

Clever Girl

I read Arthur's Reading Race. Arthur learned to read in school and read everywhere. Then he raced with his younger sister D.W. whether she knows how to read. If she reads ten words, Arthur promised what he buys ice cream for her. She read words one after another. Finally she was bought ice cream, and moreover, she told two words to Arthur! She was cleverer than he!!

Then Gran had fireworks, so everyone played it. It was a very big sound that the dog Floppy hid under a little table and the vase was broken. The children were sad, so the magic key took the children into Chinese. They were to taken Emperor, and he tried to put the children in the prison. But they found very bad his servants, so the Emperor was pleased with them and present a vase. It was just like Gran's. However, the new vase has Chinese writing on it, but Gran's were made in Taiwan!
