Using computer is very useful and important. There are some applications in computer. It is Internet, Word, and PowerPoint. We can use them in classes or private time. I often use computer on several purpose, but I don't like to use computer because it is very difficult for me. However, many people in the world use computer and we need to use computer well at our place of work in the future.

When I want to know some information, I use Internet such as Yahoo and Google. If I write key words, much information would hit. Then I have only to choose some information in them. Moreover, computer connects with all over the world. So if I know other things which are outside Japan, I don't have to go there. I know them, wherever I am. Also, I use Word. I can check spelling or structure in my sentences. It is helpful thing.

I write blog with using computer. I write dairy, movie or book review and essays. I can my thoughts, and other people can know my thoughts and opinion. Also I read other blogs and I can know other people's thoughts and opinions. Then I can accept opinions and my outlook are broadened. Computer is border less, so I have communicated with a girl who is from South Korean before. I was interested in South Korean and I exchanged e-mails with her through the computer. It was freshness and excited that I could know South Korean better than before. We have a lot of chance to exchange information not only South Korea but also other foreign country. It is very convenient.

Except communicating with other people, we can enjoy with computer such as listening to the music or watching movies and dramas. I have an i-pod, so I sometimes look for songs and find my favorite songs then download. When I have free time so much, I watch movie or drama. When I also want to watch DVD, I occasionally use with computer. If I missed the drama or movie, I can watch it without borrowing DVD. It is enjoyable and relaxes time.

Using computer is very useful and convenient; however, it sometimes doesn't work properly. It is infected virus and break off. Also it is managing many people's personal date, so if they are leaked out, it would be faced a serious crisis. So we have to manage treating computer and be always careful. We must not infringe a copyright, too.

As a conclusion, using computer is leaning many things. Some are good point, others are bad point. We can know a lot of information and other people's opinions. We can communicate with others through the computer and understand their conditions. Or if you have a free time, you can enjoy with several sites and games. Computers are small and compact, but they are equipped a lot of functions. If you can handle them well, you would were brought a deal of benefit because computers play an important part. So it is important and worthy to continue using and learning computer.

Essay 2-05:Find Other Place!~Secret of Kumamoto~

Hi, everyone! It is very cold everyday, so people tend to be in the house, don't they? I will introduce Kaminouradori. I often go to downtown to but clothes or to ear dinner with my friends. I always go to Shimotori and Kamitori to them. However, I seldom go in the direction of Namikizaka because there were not favorite places, I thought.

When I had free time in last month, I went part of there to search.Kaminouradori is east of Namikizaka and an alley off the Kamitori. There are many various and fashionable shops such as cafe, restaurant, imported or Asian general store, beauty salon, clothing shops, bar and democratic cook shop now.

Kaminouradori is an alley that a car can pass barely and there were old wooden buildings more than 100 years before, and there was unworthy for business area. In this situation, a beer restaurant remodeled and Itinokura opened in 1987. This restaurant became popular because it reused old storehouse and its unique space attracted with people. Then round young people became to open new shops. However, they reused or applied old buildings not to destroy them. Therefore; there are a lot of various shops.

I will introduce one cafe. It’s　Dinning&cafe bar gab." There is in Kaminouradori and people can eat delicious omelet containing fried rice, but its start at 14 o'clock. Also, people can take dogs in this cafe!! It is amazing!! This cafe is fashionable and you can enjoy this space with your dog. So you sure like it.

There are any more shops in Kaminoura, but I don't tell any more. If you go there, you are sure like it and can discovery other shops. So please go there and you find your favorite places!

Essay 2-04: A Part of My Life~Community Life~

When I was a junior high school student, I belonged to badminton club. I have liked to play badminton when I was a child, so I often used to play it with my family and friends in the park or house. I was very interested in badminton and I wanted to belong to it. It is a start that I play badminton and became a necessary part of my life.

I belonged to badminton club, however, I had thought that badminton was very easy sport. I went to see the activity after school, but it was so speedy movement that I and my childhood friend were overwhelmed. However, our determinations were not unshaken. After all, four girls except us belonged to badminton club.

The practices were very very hard because our couch was a champion when he was a high school student. He was a strict and he made us train up very harder. Before hitting the shuttle, we had to train to improve physical strength inside and outside. I didn't like that. We trained everyday while we were short of breath and sweat profusely. Although I didn't like that, I could realize that my strength and skill were improving gradually. I stood their severe training and tried to practice badminton, so I won the doubles in third palace at the 中体連 in Kikuchi District. It was unbelievable and I was very overjoyed then.

I wanted to belong and try another club in high school. However, I belonged to badminton club again after all because I want to do nothing else. The training was not harder than in junior high school because we had to place study than club. So I learned many things except practicing badminton.

We had to be consistent with club and study, but I want to be good at badminton. I practiced hard but I could not become good player easily, so I was worried many times and I overcame my suffering and my friends helped me once in a while. Because we had many own thoughts, we clashed each other and were distressed many times. Whenever we were, we talked and overcame many times. We spent so that three years, so we built good relationship each other and became good friends. Of course, our badminton skill could improve up. I am very happy that I could meet and spend with them high school days.

Now I have contained to play badminton. I belonged to badminton club in spring, and when I was free, I play it with other university students. Besides, I go trip, drinking, play with them. I still enjoy badminton life now. When I play badminton, I can get rid of my stress.

As a conclusion, it is a part of my life for me to join and play badminton. Through badminton, I could meet many people and had to do with them. To play badminton isn't easy but it has been a necessity to do. I could not feel happiness, enjoyment and fruition, but also affliction, sadness and setback. It is important to feel them and I could grow with people together.

Essay 2-03: "Mrs Doubtfire"

I have watched "Mrs. Doubtfire" before and I thought only that it was very funny movie then. So I considered this movie well for the first time. This movie was so funny that I enjoyed it very much, and it makes me happy and tells me that family is important and valuable. The main character is Daniel (father), three children (two girls and one boy), Miranda (mother) and the heroine (?) of the movie Mrs. Doubtfire. Daniel is a humorous father and he loves his children very much. He always dose as he likes, so Miranda were tired and she could not stand his acting at last. Then they divorce.

First, the movie tells us love. Daniel loves his family, especially his children. After Daniel and Miranda divorced he wanted to meet his children. When Miranda came for children to Daniel's house earlier, Daniel insisted that he had still his time. He wanted to meet his children no matter what, he disguised as an English housekeeper at last. He could do that because he really loves them. He was a humorous father in front of his children but when he was a Mrs. Doubtfire, he was a strict and he took care of them. First the children didn't trust and listen to her but they gradually opened their mind and liked her. There were filled with smiles. If he were sad and painful, he could overcome them because he had a great affection for family. Daniel told his children and wife to love through a Mrs. Doubtfire.

Second, the movie also tells they need communication. Daniel and Miranda must have loved each other at first but they gradually didn't get along. If they loved very much, they crush gradually each other without communications because I can't know that she or he think to what. It is impossible for everybody such as friends and parents and their children. Daniel disgusted Mrs. Doubtfire and heard Miranda's thought for Daniel. Then he knew his bad points and cause so he could change them. It influenced on relationship between Daniel and his children.

If you consider somebody well but you don't tell them to him or her, the things goes wrong undoubtedly. When I work at part time job, I am always told that I have to communicate with our partners. If I do that, the work will go smoothly without mistakes or with a little mistakes and I will get trust from partner and customers. So it is very important for us to go well. We need communication not only family but also other place.

As a conclusion, I think this movie told love and communication in family, and we also need them. I haven't thought that family is very important for me, but I think that I have to thank for my family through this movie. This movie tells us that family is important, precious, and supported, and helps me. I could not have lived without my family. So I want to consider my family more and support and help for my family.

What is your favorite place? My favorite place is my home. You have your own home and live there. Some live with someone such as family, friends and sweetheart, others live alone. I live at home with my family and pet dog. I had not felt so much that it is important for me to spend with my family and I want to stay there. However, I like to spend with them recently because I can relax there and it is interesting to spend them.

First, I can relax the best of all places. I like to go shopping, driving, eating outside, go to university, play with my friends, watching movies, go to sea or mountain, and so on. In other words, I like to go outside. I enjoy there very much but I feel tired the last. I wanted to stay there more long time but when I went back to home, I could feel relief every time. I could become quiet the best. When I went out with my family and went back to our house, my family also said that it is the best place to make us quiet and we like our house the best! I agree with them.

Second, I can do everything whenever I want to do in my house. I like to listen to music, so I look for my favorite music using my computer and download them. When I am not busy, I watch DVD on TV or my computer while I drink or eat something. I can feel watching movie same as movie theater, so I enjoy it much. I also like to sleep wrapped up in a blanket in my room. I can be relieved in a house. Recently It became colder in the morning so I can't go out the eiderdown easily.

Third, I can communicate with my family. I didn't like my home before because it was not interesting at all. I didn't talk with my family so much and I quarried with them soon. So it was bad atmosphere in our house. But one day I was told by my mother that if I try to communicate with them, there would be a good mood. Then I have trying to do that, I feel interesting to spend and talk with them now. Also I love our pet dog and he is a very naughty. If he sees someone, he comes running soon and is glad wagging his tail. He is so cute that we all love him.

My home is so important and favorite place for me that I couldn't do without home. When I was tired and had to take a rest, it gives me relaxation and comfort. If I want to enjoy something, I can do favorites or think alone and study. Moreover, I can sit in a happy circle with my family and consult with my parents and brother. I think I grown up in a family and home, so did everyone. There are many places and I need there. So I like it very much.

My Language Learning History

What language can you speak? I will talk about my language learning history. I always speak Japanese because I live in Japna and it is my mother tongue. Also, I speak English a little in class. However, I'm very intested in other foreign language.

When I was eight years old I went to the English conversation class for the first time. Because my mother wanted me to like and to be able to speak English. At the class, I did mainly games, singing songs, listening, memorizing, writing and so on except conversation. I enjoyed and it was good for me, I think. I became to like English.

I wanted to be able to speak English, so I took part in English speech contest with friends for three years during the junior high school. We did our best at the contest, but we could not get the prize. However, we had very precious and good experiences. When I was in the eighth grade, I went to Canada for two weeks for home stay program. I went to Halifax in Nova Scotia. It was country but people were so kind, gentle and friendly, so I like them very much and I want to go there again. I like Canada!

In high school, I learned reading, listening, writing, grammar, and oral communication. It was different from junior high school. I only enjoyed in junior high school but it was enough for a enjoyable in high school. It also included difficult and hard but I liked English so I decide to study English in KGU.

I have studied French since I entered the university. I am interested in Europe, of course France, because it is so fashionable. It was very difficult, for example, grammar and pronunciation although it was similar to English. The class is translate "Jeanne d'Arc" French into Japanese. It is so difficult that we need dictionary and preparation before a class.

Last year, I studied Korean. I have been interested in Korea because It had been very very popular about Korea in Japanese people such as movie and drama, and it is nearby Japan. It was the first time that I studied the Hangul alphabet at the class. At first, it was troubling to understand Hangul, but I understood gradually because my interest was superior to my troubling. I want to learn Korean more and more after this, and I want to go South Korea at any cost.
In this year, I have studied Chinese because I also had been interested in Chinese. However, it is more difficult than Korean, I thought. Translating from Chinese into Japanese is easier because it is used kanji, but it was more troubling to pronounce and have good intonation. I need more studied harder.

To learn foreign language is important for me, and it makes me growing up. I am very happy when I could read or understand French or Korean unexpected. If you are in Foreign Language Department or you are interested in foreign language, I think you had better start to study them or to study more and more. It will surely be good for you. I intend to study them after this, and I want to use them in the future.

I watched "Bridget Jones: the Edge of Reason" because I have watched it at least once. Also, many magazines said that it has been gaining support among many women of the same generation, and they have sympathized a lot. It was the best seller in the world. I will tell you about Bridget Jones.

Bridget Jones is the main character in this movie. She is a not so beautiful woman and she is fat and smokes, so she is a common person that everywhere we can see. She is a journalist but she also bungee-jump for report. She is entrusted with a little strange job. So, she makes some boo-boo in jobs or her private life but she is humor. No matter what she does, it's hard to hate her.

However, she has a boyfriend whom she loves very very very much. His name is Mark Darcy. He is a lawyer. He is a nondescript face and courteous person. Whatever Bridged does, he never angry and hate her. He always loves her. He is an elite and he is contrasts with her.

They spend happy days as same as ordinary people, but one day she was informed Daniel Cleaver by her producer. He is her old boyfriend and he is a also journalist and her boss. He is so sexy that he's always fooling around with women. So, she hates him now.

When Bridget was said that the date would be late by Mark, she went consulting to three undesirable friends. Then she was said that Mark may be having an affair with a woman. The woman is Rebecca. She is only 22 years old and she has long legs. Bridget was worrying and she went to his house in a flurry. She punted into his house, and there are many Mark's bosses. She put to shame in them. Rebecca is a subordinate for Mark. When she was invited a party of lawyer's association, she put to shame again. She felt that she got along them well because they were much cleaver than she. Also she felt that she was inferior to Rebecca. Bridget and Mark didn't get along because of it. They made up but she said good-bye to him after all because she thought he had the affair with Rebecca.

After 5 months, Bridget, her friend and Daniel went to Thailand because of the same job. There she was tempted him but she refused his temptation. She didn't forget Mark. Before taking a plane to come back to their country, Bridget was arrested and flung into prison for cocaine, but it was mistake. She was helped by Mark. To the truth, He had still loved her. Rebecca actually loves Bridget not Mark! She is a lesbian!! Bridget and Mark were finally joined in marriage.

Bridget is not special woman. She is ordinary woman. She loves, worries, cries and she is a scatterbrain. She is fat, so she has an inferiority complex for her body. She was given up for luck, and her timing is always bad, but she is honesty. She has lived straight. When she feel sad or worrying, she has the help of her friends or her family. She tries to do as hard as she could, so she gets many sympathies from a lot of contemporary women. If you lost heart, you would try hard, and the good going occurs to you. In the end she said "I truly believe that happiness is possible."

My University Life

I'll introduce my university life. I go to KGU by my car everyday. There are many faculties in KGU and I'm majoring in English. I study English and other foreign languages. I have passed more than one year since I entered in KGU. My university life is busy but funny, so I live full life everyday. I think that I have three important points in university life.

Firstly, it is to study language. I like English, so I am studying English in this university but I think that I don't have enough English skill at all. So, I have to study English harder than now. I think I want to get the job that I use English in our country or foreign country, but I have not yet decide what I want to do in the future. Therefore, I have been looking for them now. I have a course about Japanese from 18:00 to 19:30 every Monday and Friday, and I am very interested in it. So, I must study Japanese and teaching methods.

My second foreign language is French. I have studied for two years, but it is so difficult for me. Except for French, I took Korean last year because I am interested in Korean very much. It was a little difficult, but I could come to read the Hangul alphabet. I want to go to South Korea someday! In this year, I am taking Chinese, however, it was so difficult especially pronunciation and intonation. Although these are not so easy, but I am in the Foreign Language Department so I want to know other foreign languages.

Secondly, it is friends. I like to talk with my friends at bakery, the bench while basking in the sun. When I was sad or depressed, my friends listened to my thoughts and worries and advised me, and I was helped by them many times. We are always taking classes, or having lunch, or talking together and playing a lot. I like them very much, and they are precious treasure in university life.

Recently, I joined badminton circle and I go to play every Thursday after classes. I had been in badminton club from junior high school to senior high school. So, I like to play badminton. When I went to the circle for the first time, there were no people whom I know, but we came to talk little by little these days. I like to make friends and talk them, so I am looking forward to going the circle every Thursday. Spending the time with friends is very important for me and for you in our life, I think.

Thirdly, it is part time job. I have two part time jobs. One is a hostess at wedding and the other is KFC. I usually work at wedding on Saturday and Sunday, and KFC is on ordinary days. I prefer hostess to KFC because the hostess is impressed with the bride and groom and their people, so it is a work worth doing. It is happy for me to be helpful to someone, so I want to continue this part time job.

In these circumstances, I think that I am living a comfortable university life everyday. The university life is not only studying, part time job, playing but also being compatible with them. I like friends, circle, bakery, a students' dining hall and a little classes. I like KGU, I like all of KGU. If I didn't have them, I would spend terrible university life. I appreciate it and I want to make good use of my university life for four.

SHReK!!

I watched "Shrek" for the first time and the movie was so funny! I will tell you about "Shrek".

In the movie, the main character is Shrek. He lives alone in the forest, and there is a swamp near his house. He is an ogre and his skin is green. He has lived without communicating with others because he is an ogre, so he has thought that people were scared.

In this country, the people had caught fairy tale creatures because the people who catched them could get reward. One day, he met Donkey. Donkey was running away from civil servants and Shrek saved him. Donkey liked Shrek because he was kind even if he was a green monster. Donkey was funny and talkative. He also likes to sing songs but Shrek wanted to break the relationship.

This night, many fairy tale creatures were banished and came Shrek's swamp and they said that Lord Farquaad did this. So, Shrek and Donkey went to the castle to take back his swamp.

In the castle, Lord Farquaad was trying to build an ideal country and found a Magic Mirror. He said that to do this, Lord Farquaad had to marry princess. So, Farquaad had dealings with Shrek and Farquaad made Shrek and Donkey took the princess this castle and they went to the castle that she was.

The Princess Fiona was shut in top of the castle that Dragon was. She had to kiss fate person to remove a spell.

She had two faces. It was a night face and a day face. It was a spell. After Shrek saved her, they went to the Farquaad's castle. On the way, Shrek became to feel affection for Fiona, but he didn't take courage. Also, Fiona did so.

In the last, Fiona's secret had come out, but still Shrek loved her. He said "I love you." She also loved him. The two were finally joined in marriage.

The theme of the movie was appearance, I thought. Shrek and Fiona were similar to thought. They hated to be a monster. Shrek kept others at the distance, and Fiona afraid to let others know. Although they were monsters but they wanted to accept like a person.

Of course, Donkey was one of the most important characters. He was noticed that Shrek was kind even if he was an ogre. Donkey was busybody and had positive thinking, so he could open Shrek's mind and encourage having courage for Shrek. He talked too much but this is one of the most strong points for Donkey. If Donkey didn't exist, Shrek could not open his mind, meet Fiona and marry her, neither. He is a best friend for Shrek. Friendship and Love are also important.

I think that people worry about their appearance, but it is important for us to have courage and to look at other points like a Donkey.

I'm a Japanese girl!

Hi, I'm Saori. I'm nineteen years old and I'm a girl. I go to KGU in Kumamoto and study English everyday. I like to study English, but what I like best is to chat with my friends about love, entertainers, music, clothes, food, restaurant and friends.

At university, I have three best friend and we are always together. We attend the class, eat lunch, go shopping and stay at a friend's house. We get along very well. And, I belong to the photographs club. The number of people is maybe eighty. Recently, I came to be able to remember everyone's name. Our activities are to take pictures of couple families, children, friends and scenery. To take pictures of them, we go out the zoo, kindergarten, streets, the shores of the river, houses, schools, shops, and so on. It is difficult to photograph them, but I like it because we can see the real face of various people.

So, I will take pictures of various people and places there. I want to go many places such as beautiful, exciting, amazing and pleasant. Please take me with you.

How many people are there in your family? I have four people in my family. It is my mother, my father, my younger brother and me. And, I have a pet dog. My father is an architect and my mother is a nurse. My younger brother is a high school student and he is sixteen years old. As we along with each other now, we talk a lot and go shopping together. My pet dog is Shih Tzu and he is eight years old. He is very cute and he is the most popular in my family. Do you have any pet?

My favorite thing is shopping. I'm very interested in fashion so, I read magazines and watch TV and like to check out fashionable dressers. Whenever I want to go there, I go to alone. What is popular now in your country? Are you interested in fashion?

Eating is also like it. I have a sweet tooth. It is the happiest for me to eat sweets, especially I like cakes. What are famous and delicious sweets or foods in your country? I want to eat them.

I have two part-time job. One is companion at wedding the other is the Kentucky Fried Chicken. Do you know KFC, do you? It is difficult to make money but to learn service and manners will be good for me.

I will stay six weeks with you. What do you usually do in summer? Do you know popular sports, places, shops? I want to try as many as possible and I want to learn culture tradition language and the differences between Japan and your country
